Representatives of Missoula community organizations (including Mountain Home) and public health advocates met on Thursday, April 4, 2024, to discuss health care re-enrollment after Montana’s mass Medicaid redetermination. With 1 in 10 Montanans removed from Medicaid since last April, health coverage advocates from Get Covered and Montana Primary Care Association call for an ‘all hands on deck’ approach. Mountain Home is a committed partner in keeping Medicaid accessible considering over half of our families lost coverage during this redetermination period. We’re lucky to have case managers and care teams that reenrolled all of those families quickly to keep our community healthy.
