Six Missoula philanthropists were presented with awards for their outstanding contributions to the community on Wednesday night. One of those Missoula philanthropists was Mountain Home’s founder and self-described Mountain Home Grandma, Laura Snyder. Laura was awarded for longtime service and support of Mountain Home and her record of generosity to public schools, and nonprofits across the Missoula community.
The awards event was in honor of National Philanthropy Day and was hosted by the Missoula Nonprofit Center and United Way of Missoula County.
