At Mountain Home Montana, young women and children facing extraordinary challenges find a safe haven and the support they need to build brighter futures. Many arrive with little more than hope, and your kindness can make a world of difference. By donating essential items, you can help provide warmth, comfort, and a sense of stability to these resilient individuals as they navigate life’s difficulties. Every contribution, no matter how small, holds the power to uplift a family in need and remind them that they are not alone.
If you have items that you would like to donate to Mountain Home, please reach out to us to organize a drop-off time.
If you are dropping off donations after hours, please place these items at the South Avenue-facing door of the blue house.
Please do not leave donations near the lobby entrance.
Take 23rd Avenue and enter behind the building, closest to Garland Drive.
All basic needs items (deodorant, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, baby wipes, etc.) must be unused and unopened.
Mountain Home Montana gratefully accepts gently used donations that can be given to residents and their children or that can be sold through our Rattle n' Roll Traveling Store to support programs. It is hard to say no to donations when many young mothers and their children are in need, but certain items cannot be accepted due to health hazards, safety regulations, or high disposal costs.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT FURNITURE OR LARGE APPLIANCES.
While Mountain Home cannot accept these items, please consider calling to see if the YWCA Secret Seconds could use them (excluding used car seats and outdated cribs which cannot be donated).
It certainly takes a village and we appreciate you being part of ours!
All donations to Mountain Home Montana are tax-deductible and we will provide a donation receipt if requested.
If you have a vehicle, truck, or boat that you would like to donate to benefit Mountain Home Montana, please contact CARS, Inc. online at http://careasy.org/nonprofit/mountain-home-montana or by phone at 855-500-RIDE.
Mountain Home Montana is a 501c3 organization providing shelter for young mothers who need a place to live, and a network of support as they create safe, stable, and nurturing homes of their own.
