MISSOULA, MT — A Missoula nonprofit will soon have two locations to help serve people in need in the community. Mountain Home just closed on a second campus to provide shelter for young mothers and children.
Now they just need a little help getting started on renovations.
The building may look like it needs a little pick-me-up right now, but once it’s ready, it will serve as a new transitional housing building for Mountain Home Montana.
Restoration with a little love and support is what the organization does best.
“Creating change two generations at a time. We really love that model of not only supporting a mom but also supporting your kid and breaking those generational cycles of poverty trauma, you know, mental health disorders,” Kelsie Severson, director of development and impact at Mountain Home Montana, said.
