MISSOULA, Mont. – In a time of personal housing crisis, young mom Hannah Dashnaw-Wisherd found sanctuary at one of Missoula’s adult homes that host moms in need.
“In all honesty, I was really scared of trusting people. I am a very I’ll do it myself person. And I didn’t want to have to rely on somebody else. And I also didn’t want to have somebody else making choices for me. I then realized that Mountain Home is working with me to make these choices and in a very healthy manner, and that’s why it’s worked so well,” said Dashnaw-Wisherd.
Mountain Home helps so many moms, just like Hannah everyday through our supportive housing program, mental health center, and other supportive programs. We’re working to serve more through our expansion to our new facility.
